This includes subjects with a background of anaphylaxis to foods, latex or venom. For more information please visit: https://www.allergy.org.au/hp/papers/ascia-hp-position-statement-covid-19-vaccination
  • Food Allergy

Emerging evidence suggests that introduction of foods in early infancy, rather than delaying introduction, may be associated with prevention of food allergy. More info from this article from the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology -
  • Immunotherapy

The principle of immunotherapy is that the immune system can be desensitised to allergens that otherwise may cause disease. In this way, desensitisation to an environmental allergen can potentially change the underlying process for allergic disease. Click here for more information on immunotherapy available at this practice.
  • Allergic Rhinitis

Currently 1 in 5 Australians suffers from allergic rhinitis. Control of allergic rhinitis can help with management and control of asthma.
